Dorset’s Royal British Legion Poppy Appeal for 2023 was launched in Blandford on 28th October. Participants included Dorset Lord Lieutenant Angus Campbell, President of the Blandford RBL Byron Quayle, and standard bearers from across the county. The launch of the Appeal was accompanied by the opening of the Field of Remembrance in the Parish Churchyard.
