Blandford’s Hidden Gardens

Blandford’s Hidden Gardens is an opportunity to explore not only the gardens but also rarely-seen areas of the town itself.

2024’s Hidden Gardens event, on Sunday June 9, was the 16th year that owners opened their gardens to share their secrets with the public in support of local and national charities, community organisations and events. There were 19 gardens opened around the town, welcoming over 400 visitors.

For more information, please visit www.opengardens.co.uk/open_gardens.

Yuletide Festival

Blandford’s Yuletide Festival has become a firm favourite in the town calendar, giving a pre-Christmas traffic-free experience for everyone and a boost to the town’s shops with late-night opening. Highlights are the children’s lantern parade and community carol singing in the Market Place, market stalls in the streets, Santa’s grotto in the Corn Exchange, live entertainment, and various venues offering festive cheer. Entry is free but donations are welcome.

Please visit the website or Facebook page for information about this year’s festival.
