Acts of Remembrance in Blandford Forum 2024 Saturday 26th October at 11am Join the Mayor of Blandford Forum and the Blandford & District Branch of the Royal British Legion for a short procession from Legion House to the Parish Church for the Branch’s Poppy Appeal launch event and the opening of the Field of Remembrance. Sunday 3rd November at 10:50am The Royal British Legion Commonwealth War Graves Memorial Service at Blandford Cemetery. Friday 8th November at 10:30am Join children from local schools at the Parish Church prior to laying crosses in the churchyard. Sunday 10th November from 2:45pm Remembrance Sunday Wreath Laying and Parade in the Market Place. Monday 11th November at 11am Join the Mayor for a two-minute silence at the Royal British Legion for Armistice Day.
