Monday 12 May at 7pm

at the British Legion, hall next to the main bar.

A group of local business owners is looking into the possibility of Blandford’s becoming part of a Business Improvement District (BID), which is a business-led and -funded body formed to improve a defined commercial area. Over towns and cities in the UK are part of a BID , including in our local area Wimborne, Dorchester, Bournemouth, Christchurch and more recently Poole.

The Blandford Business Support Group have arranged for a representative from the Poole BID to come and talk about the application process, the way it works for a town, and the pros and cons. This information will help us to decide as a town if the BID could be something we should go for, to make our beautiful town more attractive and vibrant for residents and visitors.

This meeting is the first step to the possibility of improving our town … so please pop the date in your diary and come along to the BRITISH LEGION HALL for 7pm on MONDAY 12th MAY and listen to all the information that she can offer, so we can decide if this is something that we could do.
